Hey Joseph, My name is Hal Inman. I too am an old retired (AF) military guy here in Alabama. I have the dreaded \"C\" disease and am preparing to have the lower portion of my esophagus removed. I am presently at stage 1B. I have had no symptoms from day one and I am somewhat concerned about what to expect post surgery. How long was it before you started driving again? Will it take months before I feel half way normal again? How are your eating habits affected? I guess everyone is different but it is the unknown that bothers me. I have always been active and I am ready to hit the road when this is over with. read more.
