Vice President,
Rhonda Small

My husband was diagnosed at 56 years of age in June 2007 and had surgery immediately for a disease that I had never heard of. Throughout his illness, I heard time and again from people who had also never heard of this cancer.

Since losing him in Oct. 2008 it has been my desire to try and raise awareness for esophageal cancer. My hope is to explore as many options as possible to let people know about the symptoms of EC and the importance of early detection.

I have a BA from the University of Wisconsin, two sons and currently reside in the Atlanta area.
